Master of Mechanical Engineering graduate looking for work. Currently based in Dallas, TX and open to relocation opportunities.
An avid tinkerer and modder, I have always loved learning how things work. Something broken was an opportunity to understand, modify, and create. My insatiable curiosity took me down the path of natural sciences where I gained a broad perception of the workings that define our world. Now, I apply this perspective to my engineering projects.
Introduction
After graduating in 2013 with a BS in Biology, I worked in clinical research coordinating trials for some of the most cutting edge pharmaceuticals. During my nearly 7 years as a clinical research coordinator I have had the privilege of working with a diverse group of professionals and patients. In this collaborative environment, I developed strong interpersonal relationships, established lines of communication, and utilized analytical skills to provide timely solutions to any problem I face.
Currently, I am serving as the Lead Mechanic and Engineer at MotoLocale and provide technical services and design solutions to the repair, maintenance, and upgrade of modern and vintage motorcycles. In this position I have leveraged my CAD skills and led the initiative for in-house tooling production utilizing additive manufacturing to reduce lead times and capital expenses.
Work
In 2023, I graduated with a Master of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. My primary interests include mechanical design and the use of additive manufacturing in providing novel solutions, adapting ideas of the natural sciences to the engineering space.
