MPCNC Build

The MPCNC is an open-source design for a CNC router produced by V1 Engineering. Using easily sourced components and hardware and 3D printed structural components, the MPCNC brings CNC routing to the masses.

The purpose of this build was to add NC subtractive machining to my shop capable of handling up to aluminum alloys. Parts to be produced include plugs and molds for composite layup and metal casting, motorcycle components in plastic and aluminum including chain sliders, rearsets, and triple clamps, and various custom tools and tooling.
